Student Wellness Mission Statement

The Central Public Schools believes that our schools can play an important role in the developmental process by which students establish their health and nutrition habits by providing nutritious meals throughout the day, by supporting the development of good eating habits, and by promoting increased physical activity both in and out of school.

This plan outlines the District’s approach to ensuring environments and opportunities for all students to practice healthy eating and physical activity behaviors throughout the school day while minimizing commercial distractions.
