At Taher, we make every effort to identify ingredients commonly known to cause allergic reactions for those individuals with food allergies. Our chefs offer products which may contain nuts or tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, eggs and dairy. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we encourage our customers to review our display signage and placards as well as individual packaged snacks to verify any allergens present in the food products.
Items containing tree nuts will be clearly marked for this allergen. Items labeled or posted gluten friendly are made with no gluten-containing ingredients. Every effort is made to instruct our staff on the severity of food allergies. However, there is still a risk of contamination and it is best to ask before consuming to ensure safety. Because we also offer commercially prepared packaged snack items there is the possibility manufacturers of these commercial foods could change the formulation at any time without notice. It is best to read the label prior to consuming.
Parents and students concerned with food allergies can consult with our Chef Manager by contacting the food service department. We are happy to review each monthly menu as well as review all offerings to help educate both students and parents on any known allergies and foods to avoid. Your safety is the utmost importance to us and we are here to assist or discuss any of our food offerings. Please remember to notice any signage or placard that has an allergen warning. When in doubt, please ask. We are happy to assist.

Fruit, Vegetable and Spice
The Dining Hall is made up of six food stations where students can purchase entrees which are considered a “lunch”. The food court caters to the majority of students by offering a variety of popular food items each day. Some of our customers prefer to eat the same type of foods each day, while others prefer to move from station to station depending on what is offered that day. Throughout the year, we evaluate menus and make changes based on student demand. We always welcome your suggestions and requests for new menu items, and will try to honor them.
