Breakfast and Lunches are available at no charge to all students until further notice
Skyward is the computerized prepayment system for school meals in our district. The balance system where funds are placed in advance on the account, and purchases are drawn against the balance. The program is not a credit card type system. Students are issued a 4 Digit Pin number, which is assigned to them when they first enter the school district(the pin number will be the same from year to year). Our policy requires all student accounts must be active and current and have a positive balance in order to purchase lunch (for full and reduced priced meals), extra milk or ala carte items. There is no maximum amount that you can pre-pay.
Please plan ahead to insure your family account has sufficient funds to keep a positive balance. Charges cannot be processed if your account falls below zero until a payment is made.
If a students’ account balance becomes low, a daily reminder will be sent out to parents via email. Phone calls are also sent out twice a week. A low balance is defined as an account balance with $5.00 or less. When the account reaches $0 or below, a la carte purchases will not be allowed. Families are required to pay in advance for the lunch program and should maintain a positive balance in their account. After reaching this limit, students will not be allowed to take part in the lunch / breakfast program until payment has been made and a positive balance has been established. Parents should discuss meal and a la carte purchasing guidelines with their children on a regular basis to prevent unwelcome purchases.
Payments are accepted by check or cash. Payments by check or cash must be in a sealed envelope and the envelope must contain STUDENT and FAMILY NAME, lunch ID and account number to assist in crediting the proper account.
Any money remaining in a student lunch account at the end of the school year will be transferred with the student to the next grade. Any refunds of $5.00 or more for students leaving the district must be made in writing to: Tracy Sudik, Food Service Director, 401 Highland Drive, Fredonia, WI .

A la Carte Snack Items

Northern Ozaukee School District has partnered with Efunds for Schools to allow Electronic Payments by Credit Card, Debit Card, or directly from your Savings or Checking Account, into your family account via their secure web site. By clicking on the “Make a Payment Online” button, you can easily sign up for this service by registering at any time. Just think! no more checks to write, or worrying about it getting lost on the way to school. There is a fee for this service with options for pay per use, or to enroll for in unlimited use for a monthly fee. Using On Line Payments is offered as an option to those interested but is strictly voluntary. When you sign up, you will enter your Family ID (which is your phone number with area code) and Pin Number, (which is your 4 digit lunch pin number).
